WOOOOHOOOO for Monday, although that was an awfully short weekend, LOL  I had to work from home lots so maybe that's why it seemed so short, or maybe it's because I didn't spend most of Sunday at my DD's... they came over and gave Tom his father's day cards and present and then we took them all out for breakfast.... and the next thing I knew it was time to go bed... LOL 

Prayers are going up for all that need them!

 Morning Everyone,

I am about to head out to UTA to pick up my son's transcript....hope I can find Davis Hall by myself.  LOL  My son is camp counslor at YMCA Camp Carter and a lifeguard there also for the summer.    SO I have to do his dirty work.  LOL  He is going to attend a different college in the fall.    Hope everyone had a great weekend.   Mine was OK.   Lisa..hang in there....surely they will see how important you are to the company and keep you.    Good luck with the bloodwork this AM and hang in there.   It will be OK.   Remember....God never closes a door that he doesn't open a window.   Have a great day everyone !!!!

Good morning...sure would have liked to sleep in this morning but don't get the chance.  I'm off to a workshop in Huntsville this morning with co-workers.

I have a hair and pedicure appt. when I get back around 5 so it will be a long day.

I'm tired and grumpy this Monday morning, so to sum it up... Not sure what my job future holds as they announced a 'restructure' on Friday.  No details, just that more will be coming...   So, I've been stressed and not sleeping well this weekend, worrying about having or not having a J.O.B. in the near future....  Doesn't help that I have to fast for bloodwork this morning and can't have any coffee until 9 or later.....   I'm so addicted, may only be 2 small cups a day, but I still need it to help get those brain cells firing faster!

Beyond that, all else okay, but the weekends really do go by too quicklyl!

I'm a coffee addict... currently working on my 4th (or is it 5th?) 26 oz mug this morning... 

I use my chocolate protein as creamer in a sorry attempt to justify drinking so much... LOL

Morning all,
well in beaumont for the weekend for mom's b-day. horrid weekend as i barely got here friday night and her 2 chihuahuas got into a fight and I grabbed the one that was on top off the other one only to discover the bottom one had a HUGE gash over his eye and his eye itself was bloody, bulging out of the socket and there was no pupil or white part. great.. of course this was 11pm friday night. Her vet had given me his cell long ago so i put in a frantic call (knowing a trip to the ER vet was in order but did i need to do something in the mean time)... he tells me to glob the entire area with triple antibiotic and speed to the er vet.  Er vet says yup eye needs to come out. I ask if there is something we can do to hold him over till monday... she says of course (wow) and dops him with pain meds and shots.  Call out vet back, get him teh scoop.. he says correct but make sure you keep glopping the neosporin on every 2 hours as you must keep the eye wet adn bring him in 1st thing monday. 
So.. i been playin nurse liz all damn weeeknd to her freakin devil chihuahua.  of course i also had to put a call into Nurse gina coz he was getting feverish at one point to see what to do for that lol.  I was just thankful it wasnt one of MY dogs that got too rough with him. 
just dumped him at the vet and vet says Liz, this doesnt look that bad at all... you followed my instructions well.. im not sure we will have to take the eye.. its back in teh socket.  Kewl beans. 
So... at least there is that. so i think i may try to take a short nap, then hit the road back HOME!!!!!

Hey You Guys!
It was a crazy week last week. I started a new job and it kept me pretty busy. This week I am hoping to pick up a few patients and add time to my caseload. Right now I am in the waiting phase. I think I will probably call them on Friday and go to full-time status. The therapy is different but I think I like it.

We went to the lake this weekend. Bailey is having foot surgery on Friday so we wanted to let her get in some tubing time. I think they all had a blast, even Dirk. We took the kids Saturday night to the Granbury drive-in theater. It was pretty cool. We saw Toy Story 3 and then tried to stay for Prince of Persia but my eye lids just wouldn't hold out...lol  When Dirk realized that I had passed out he loaded the kids up and we headed back to the lake house.
